HISTORY OF GARELECK & SONS
A. Gareleck & Sons, Inc. was established in 1917, by Abraham Gareleck. Our company began by installing gas lighting. As electricity became more popular Abraham became a plumbing and heating contractor. In 1942 A. Gareleck & Sons was formed. In 1945 Abraham was joined by his son Irving, after his honorable discharge from the Navy. In 1946 Marvin Gareleck joined his father and brother in the family business after receiving an accounting degree from the University of Buffalo. In 1956 A. Gareleck & Sons was incorporated under the laws of New York state. In 1990 the company was sold to Charles E. Carfley, who had worked for the company for over 36 years. At the end of 2003
Charles retired and sold the company to his son Mark, who is now the president of the company.
A. Gareleck & Sons, Inc. specializes in servicing the commercial, industrial, institutional and residential markets. While we perform many new construction projects, we truly excel in the service and repair sector.
We presently employ a workforce of twenty five, which can expand to as many as fifty or more during the spring, summer and fall seasons. We have a fleet of ten vehicles which are eqipped to respond to any emergency that may arise. All service personnel are assigned cell phones to expedite emergency service calls. We maintain 24 hour service, including all holidays. We always have someone available for any heating or plumbing issues, anytime, day or night. We are only a phone call away.
All service calls are scheduled and dispatched the day they are received, so you will only have to place one phone call. We presently maintain a dispatch time of between 1 to 1.5 hours. we take particular pride in our fast, efficient and competent service.

We are licensed in the City of Buffalo and all surrounding areas, including: Akron, Amherst, Blasdell, Cheektowaga, Clarence, Depew, Grand Island, Hamburg, Kenmore, Lackawanna, Lancaster, Town of Tonawanda, City of Tonawanda, West Seneca, Wheatfield and Williamsville.
In order to keep abreast of the constantly changing plumbing codes, we maintain a professional membership with the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and the Plumbing Mechanical Contractors Association.
All employees are instructed on Hazard and Safety Standards which meet or exceed OSHA requirements. Periodic truck and job site
